Day 47 - PacMan Championship Edition DX

PacMan Championship Edition DX
Developer: Namco Bandai
Publisher: Namco Bandai
PSN

(Insert PacMan noise here) DJPimpDaddy casually strolls in and sits down.  He dusts off his PS3 and restarts it after a long hiatus.  The PS3 starts up and immediately updates, reboots, then updates again. He launches a demo. Feeling left out the demo too downloads an update. DJPimpDaddy sits idly on his couch in his home theater watching a progress bar. All he does all day at his computer job is get paid to sit there and watch progress bars. How ironic that he now comes home to spend some free time, watching progress bars...

I can't review this game without getting that sound out of my head. I mean, its PacMan for Christ's sake. They added some new features like frickin bombs and shiz. But in the end you are still playing PacMan.  I quit after 1 minute 13 seconds. Why does Namco Bandai keep thinking that this is a cash cow?  Most kids these days could give a f*&k about PacMan.

If you do actually want to play PacMan, please chose one of the other 21 sources that Namco has jammed down our throats: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Pac-Man_video_games

If you still insist on playing PacMan on your PS3, launch the web browser and play it online for free. This demo was boooooooooooorrringboringboringboringboringboringboringboringboring ..........>')

PS: I'm baaaaack! (ish) Doing contract work for various place, getting paid, and generally enjoying my life once again.
